When Chris proposed last February while we were in Vegas, the last thing I thought I’d be doing is planning a wedding during a pandemic. After several venue changes, two date postponements, and an ever shrinking guest list... we pulled off the perfect little shindig on January 9th at the Historic Train Station in Venice. We sincerely appreciate all the love and support we received, whether in person or from afar. It was the coldest, windiest day - and yet everything came together in the best way possible with help from family and friends.
We want to give a very special shout out to Smoking Bowls food truck, who catered the event. The food was the absolute highlight of the evening! Our signature dish was Vegan Tater Tot Tacos, and my only regret is that I didn’t get extra to go for the next day. The owners made the entire process stress free from start to finish. We would HIGHLY recommend them for any event, big or small. We also had a ton of fun with Kona Ice of Venice who provided the Sno Cone truck of our dreams for our big day.
Last but certainly not least, Leah from Unzipped Photography is the only reason we have gorgeous photos of our big day. I contacted her extremely last minute and she certainly rose to the occasion. She was an absolute lifesaver during the entire day, and we couldn’t be happier with our photos. Anyone looking for a photographer for future events please contact Leah at Unzipped and mention #TeamBlond for 15% off your next shoot!
AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER...
