We found our new favorite wine bar this weekend, and the best part is... it's only ONE BLOCK From our new apartment! Vino Bistro is the absolute hidden gem of the Rosemary District and we can't wait to go back.
We stopped here on our way to the Urbanite Theatre on Saturday night because we pass it on our walks all the time. Is it easy to miss unless you are looking for it because it is tucked down a little side street (5th street). I highly recommend giving them a try ASAP. From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcome and taken care of by Lesa the bartender. There have been so many places we have gone Downtown that have felt stuffy and unwelcoming. The energy at Vino Bistro couldn't have been more inviting.
The food is absolutely delicious, we ended up with three different Tapas. The wine selection is extensive, and is reasonably priced with great pours! Their Happy Hour is everyday they are open (Tuesday-Saturday) and all day Thursday (open mic night). They have a wide variety of Live Music throughout the week and we are very excited to have such a fun venue so close to home.
