Morning Routine with Chase Jarvis

We have a lot of exciting changes going on right now, including going Vegan! More about that later :) I've known for a while that I needed to streamline my morning routine to mentally help with these changes, and set us up for success.


I remember watching a video a few years back that I resonated well with, so I hunted it it down and watched it again a few days ago. I wanted to share it with you because I feel its very pertinent information, especially for those of us who have been on lockdown and out of our normal day to day routines.


Chase Jarvis is an award-winning photographer who is all about maximum productivity for the start of his day. I highly recommend watching the video which is only 8 minutes long.


Here is the basic breakdown of his morning routine suggestions:


  1. Get enough sleep! At least 8 hours is an ideal number.

  2. Drink 20 oz COLD water immediately upon waking.

  3. Meditate

  4. Gratitude and Visualization

  5. EAT!

  6. Move your body
